Join us for an extraordinary evening for the Washington DC premiere of the upcoming PBS documentary film Make No Little Plans: Daniel Burnham and the American City with special guest, Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement and Jim Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, who will introduce the film at 8:30PM on June 9th on the National Mall at 4th Street.


They will be joined by event sponsors Marcel Acosta, Executive Director of the National Capital Planning Commission, Caroline Cunningham, President of the Trust for the National Mall and John Ettelson, President and CEO of William Blair & Co., Additional remarks will be made by His Excellency Willy C Gaa, the Philippine Ambassador to the United States. There will be special appearances by Director Judith Paine McBrien and Academy Award nominated Actress Joan Allen, who narrated the film. The film was produced by The Archimedia Workshop in consultation with Kartemquin Films. Music by Michael Bacon with additional script consulting by Geoffrey Ward.
