After graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Urban American History, Ben realized that he didn't want to become a professor or make a lot of money like his peers. Interested in history, urban planning,film, cooking, carpentry, biking and odd facial hair, he sees documentary film work as the perfect intersection of his pursuits. He edits material and provides technical expertise for the Daniel Burnham Film Project.
